Tier-2 ICT Dependent Visa

Post by chvedha » Wed Oct 12, 2016 9:43 am

hi all - My wife has got T2 ICT and travelling this November. Me & my son has applied for dependent and planning to come to UK by January. We were told that visa issuance, in home country, will be for a month and then the applicant has to collect the visa "card" from local post office within a month!! Is this true? If this is the case, can My wife collect our visa " card" on our behalf as we will travel after a month of visa issuance!

You will be given 30 days in which to travel. Your entry into the UK will be recorded BEFORE collecting the BRP from the Post Office so your wife will be unable to collect on your behalf.

If you travel outside of your 30 day window, you will have to apply for replacement 30 day vignettes (for a fee).

Thanks for the quick one. How complex it is to apply for the 30 day replacement? Does that involve getting into the embassy / issuing office again with the applicant?

Thanks for the link. However, I have got the following questions unanswered in the link. Kindly help me:

1. Is the process of re-applying the 30 day vignette involves the same process of Visa application? (complexity, applicants visiting visa issuance office, submitting CoS etc)

2. Are there any chances the visa might get rejected during this process?

Another question, slightly off topic - should my wife have any specific salary limit so that I can apply for dependent?

No it is not the same process as the initial visa application. It is a replacement vignette application. Click on the link Casa has provided.
