Hello everyone I have an urgent question..My husband got an ILR and nw he want to apply for British pasport.As far as I know if someone want to apply for British pasport after an ILR He have to stay in UK for at least one year so my question is my husband went to Uk on 27th Nov 2015 and then he visited me again on 24th April 2016 and then back to Uk 19th July 2016 so throughout the year he spend less then three months in Pakistan...So can he apply for pasport in cumin Nov 2016 cuz he almost spend one year..Help will be appreciated.Thanks!!

Does your husband live in the UK?

When did he get ILR?

He needs to meet more requirements that just the 'last 12 months'.

Also he needs to have been granted British citizenship before he can apply for a British passport. They are two separate processes.
