If u have acquired PR already , there is no need to show your work or anything else , for naturalization you only need LIUK passed test and Meeting English language Test , such as B1 or if you have UK degree or you are from native English speaking country.mominshah wrote:Hi guys,
I am a permanent resident since last year and eligible for to apply for naturalisation hence i have booked an appointment for JCAP .
I received my PR since i was married to an eu national but we got divorced last year after i got my PR. I am from a non EU country and while i was going through the naturalisation form i got to know that as a family member i will need to show HO five years evidence of work for the last 5 years, I have worked all the time but i opened my own business in 2011 which couldnt last and after a year i started working again, i dont have any proof to show HO that i was doing my own business since i was barely covering my expenses. Now the question is would this effect my application ? I have been told by my mates that it wont be an issue but i still want an answer from experienced ppl like yourselves.
Thanx in advance for ur answers .
It doesn't make sense.mominshah wrote:Hey guys,
I sincerely appreciate u lot replying back so soon, the reason i asked this question was that i booked my appointment with wolverhampton city council for JCAP and they told me to bring last 5 years work evidence with me since i hold a PR and they have sent me the list of required documents by post as well which states the same thing.
I have done my LIUK and B1 test already and i do have enough evidence to get through just in case if anything is needed work evidence wise, i just thought they were just going OTT with all this work thing but i am quite satisfied now.... thank u all again
12 months after acquiring PR; that's not necessarily the the same as 12 months after receiving PR card.mominshah wrote:I received my pr card in june 2015 and the letter from HO states that i can apply for naturalisation after 12 months.
