Earliest date I can submit PR application on?

Post by koolio » Tue Oct 18, 2016 3:23 pm

Hello,

I am a European citizen exercising treaty rights in UK.

My Situation:

1) Came to UK on 01-November-2012 (on a return flight ticket) for job interview and went back on the same day.

2) Job Offered and accepted during second week of November-2012.

3) Came to UK on 24-November-2012 (on a return flight ticket) to find a house, sign the tenancy agreement and went back on 26 November 2012.

4) Moved to UK on 03-December-2012 (on one way flight ticket) and started living in the new house.

5) Job started on 02-January-2013 (Employment contract and income tax started on this date).

6) Applied for the registration certificate on around 1-August-2013 and received on 15-October-2013

Questions:

1) What will be considered as the start date of my qualifying period?

2) Do I have to wait for the 5 years to be really over or can I apply a few months earlier than that without my PR certificate application getting rejected/returned?

3) What is the earliest date I can submit PR application on?

Regards.
