Hi,
I am writing you today regarding the amount of days I can be outside the UK before I can apply for ILR, I have been in the UK for the last 4 years and I have leave to remain which is due to run out on June 2017.
Since I am planning to apply for ILR, I just wanted to know if there is any guiding for the days I can be away during the 5 years period.
I have completed an exchange programme in Spain in 2014 and I was away for almost 6 month, however, I have all the proves and documentation stating the date and the purpose of this trip.
Also, during THE LAST 4 years in the UK, I was visiting my wife on regular basis in Colombia as we had long distance relationship, however, we still waiting for her spouse visa to be processed and that can be used as prove.
Anyone of you aware how many days they allow to be outside the country during the 5 years in the UK, as during this time I was working and attending university.
And specifically in the last year which I am completing now?
Thanks for your help
