Extension of Spouse Visa Applying from Within UK

Post by saeeda797 » Mon Oct 24, 2016 4:54 pm

Hi guys
My husband is a British citizen and I am Pakistani.
I got spouse visa on 7/07/14
traveled to Uk on 28/07/14
and my visa expires on 7/04/17

I would really appreciate if any one of you could please guide me and answer my following queries in detail.
1) What I have understood from the previous posts mentioned on this forum is that I can apply for extension 28 days before my 2.5 yrs. in Uk which is 28 Jan 2017, (calculated time from the day I entered UK on 28 July 2014 till 28 Jan 2017) that means I can apply any time from the first week on Jan 2017? Have I understood this step correctly? or do i have apply 28 days before my visa expires?

2) When I applied in Pakistan, I had submitted an application online and then booked appointment, what are the steps here? And if I want to submit my application in Jan should I be paying fees in November? NHS fees+premium fees and take filled application form with relevant documents and at the centre they will take my biometric ? is that correct ? do i need pay for biometric too?

3) how many days does HO takes to process if we submit application through postal, as my hubby works for MNCs and we have not missed any kind of taxes or bills we wanted to use premium service, what do you advise? Also our circumstances r same we r living in the same place, he is working in the same place.

4) Regarding documents do we submit 2.5 yrs joint name docs or only 6 mths

5) I was working in a friends firm for 7 weeks I did get the pay directly in my account, but then I left work and not working currently, but there was no formal exchange of contract signed between us, but they did take my NI no and tax was cut. How do I show that when I submit my application?

6) My husband salary is £33000 but sometimes during the month If he would get short of money I would transfer £100 or so would that create any kind of issue in the visa. But his credit score is 984 on Experian, we have no credit cards, no mortgage and we pay all bills on time nothing is default. His overdraft limit on his bank account is £150 only so sometimes when he is closer to the over draft and we suddenly had to spend money due to guests and all I transfer him cash( money sent to me by my dad)

7) And also my father had been sending me money since I was not working in my account would that be a problem as well?

8) I have completed my CIPD Level 3 (HR qualification) and I have got the certificate and will be starting CIPD level 5 next month. Should I submit these documents too with the application?

9) Do I only have to submit my husband documents like his employment and bank details, and all the bills in joint names, housing inspection report, rent tenancy agreement, holiday tickets, pictures, rail cards (two together), Marriage Certificate, his passport copy or I need to submit my documents to as to what I was doing here. English test A2, And Sponsor confirmation letter regarding relation with me.

Would really be grateful if you reply back.

Thanks alot in advance & Regards
Saeeda
