Tier 2 G Dependent back to Main Tier 2 G

Post by An_Kit » Thu Nov 03, 2016 9:14 am

Hi

I have a similar query. I had tier 2 ICT visa valid from 2013 to 2018. I switched to tier 2 general dependent last month after my wife got tier 2 general visa. My wife's company is not doing so well. so I am looking for another job where they can sponsor me on tier 2 general.

My question is if there will be any issue considering I was on tier 2 ICT earlier and if the cooling off still applies to me.

Thanks in advance

I have split your post to its own topic. It is rude to tag onto another members post and it creates confusion when people respond.

12 month cooling off period does apply to you. You will need 12 months on the Tier 2 G dependent visa before you can apply for Tier 2 General from home country.
