Hi guys,

Thanks a lot again for your advises BigBigIreland & Tahir - Actually 21 months is huge this is a joke !

Do you know that the European directives are saying more than 4 weeks is not a reasonable delay. I am creating a petition so that more people can become aware of this scandal, and maybe thanks God this will help future applicants.

Sponsor: Living and working full-time in Ireland for 10 years
Applicant: non-eu national
App submitted to: Irish Embassy, new delhi, india
in November 2016
currently waiting for: 6 months+

anybody in a same situation like me plz reply

Hello everyone I am new at this imb .
However my wife and child applied in April 2016 .
We applied as short stay C visa Accompany spouse using EU directive. I have been to ireland just once to see the country and liked it . Since we applied there has been no reply. We applied with all the papers required as per website .
However there has been no reply . I heard that there was a court case concerning accompanying spouse and the Irish got. Lost this case. Normally govts do not appeal to supreme Court but surprised to see that they did.
Today I noticed at visa decision website IL247***** noso
Accompany spouse have been aproved. Our no is slightly higher.
Although we have taken passports back and went holiday to dubai , so our case is still pending with visa office.
Now advice Pl what is email address for where I can inquire when our application reached Dublin visa office and possibly status of application?
I have a couple of white Irish relatives in Ireland who can contact local mp will it help. I am UK national.

i have applied for my wife as spouse of irish national in october 2016 through vfs lahore , got email on 27/04/17 asking for current bank statement , 3 recent payslips and 2016 p60 which i provided (whatever i have )in a week , today i got approval ,ALHAMDULILLAH

Hi , You will get approval shortly , (as per my knowledge they will ask you recent payslips , detailed bank statement , P60 for 2016 and routine contact proof with your wife , keep it in hand if they have not asked yet they require when they have to make decision)

cat C is short stay visa max 90 days . who ask you to apply for short stay ? to be honest your application is not strong, your husband is british and you guys apply for short stay in ireland , it clearly shows your intention to over stay , you should have applied for D category visa which have more chances. Try to pull out your application and get your passport back and re apply for D category which have more chances

Hello everyone im new here can anyone help me plz.
I have one sister and she married in pakistan she live in Northern ireland and she applied for his irish spouse visa cat c.
The date she applied on 10.12.2015 and his duession has not come out yet.
We email them nd replyed that APPLICTION IS IN AWATING EXAMANTION.

She wants to move to ireland now and find lawyer to go to court because she has one child 1 year old and he can get IRISH PASSPORT BECAUSE HE WAS BORN IN NORTHERN IRELAND.

IS THIS GOOD IDEA ?

Above case was won by the solicitor. And judge has suggested that c category visa should be issued within 6 months.
Still delays are exceeding even 1 year ?
