Hi,

As of today, it is £32,500 for 40hrs week but most probably by April 2017, UKVI issue new SOC document so keep checking for the update and the required salaries are expected to increase.

From April 2017, the Experienced rate should be £30K minimum. Your required salary will be over 30 anyway so you should be fine.

Thanks,

If you are going to make a statement per the bolded bit above, it would be best to provide the link of where you claim to get the information from.

Hi CR001,
I found this salary for soc 3545 in the "code of practice for skilled worker" documents on UKVI website. Link Below (Refer pages 80 and 81).

HI CR001,

Please let me know if I have given wrong advise to OP (this is something I would never want to do) so that I will be careful from next time.

Thanks,
Hassan

You said 'As of today....' implying that there must have been some announcement indicating that from the 11th November there are changes. If you are basing your answer on a document from 2015, then you need to include the link and state 'the latest SoC dated April 2015'. This will avoid panic and confusion.

Hi There
I spoke to UKVI regarding new salary requirement for extension. So far I spoke to 4 agents and 3 of them said that as I am already on route so new salary requirement like 25K and 30K from april will not be applicable for me for Tier 2 extension, 1 agent said, I need to show new salary!!!

Fully confused, please help experts...
