If she applied before her visa expired, she is allowed to work. However, in the absence of a valid visa, unlikely any employer will take the risk of employing her until she her new BRP card visa.

HO letters under the immigration rules do not state whether a person has right to work or not.

We sent form on same day as visa expiry and stamp shows it, so I`ll assume she has right to work.

As for finding a job without card, that will be a challenge.

You have to apply to HO for a postal to premium upgrade and wait if HO approve the request (they often don't). Not all categories qualify for this and is mostly for ILR applications.

Varying from FP to M and financial req question

Post by jorgos82 » Sat Mar 25, 2017 10:02 pm

Hi all,

time is coming slowly where it seems that we can vary visa, and would be grateful if there are any useful links for it.

Second, have a question with regards to financial req:

Me job 1 started 01/12/2016, 24k paid weekly and on 31/03/17 will earn £7846.18 gross and £100 Overtime.
ME Job 2 started 30/01/17 26k, and on 31/03/17 will earn £4543.34 gross and £10 Overtime.
She Apr, May and June 2016 made £6204.38 gross.
She has also started job in foreign embassy on 01/03/17 for 24k but that will be paid gross into her account and we're still not sure if that can be included in calculation.

Without her new job that brings us to £18703.90 and that included my overtime.
Will that be accepted under category B and is it safe to include her new job( we can send contract and letter of empoyment together with bank statement showing money coming in).

Many thanks for responses.

Hi,

anybody able to help with question above?

Also, just to confirm that we should be sending this application to address provided on FLR M form?

Thanks

as rules stated by ukba that leave to enter or remain can be curtailed if u cease to meet the requirements of the rule.my question is does it apply to financial requirment also.means if after visa granted income drops but couple don't claim public funds.what rule says about it?

Please post in your own topic rather than tagging onto another members topic, which is considered rude and creates confusion. Curtailment DOES NOT apply to the financial requirement if it drops for a period.

Just a quick update.

Was a very long journey but all finished just fine in the end.

Rough Timeline:

Sent FLR FP 04/12/2016
Biometrics 3 weeks after
Varied to FLR M 04/04/2017
Biometric 2 weeks after
Mid July more documents requested
11/10/2017 Visa received.

Many thanks to all people who guided us and saved from making a mistake!!!
