Hi,
I am applying for the ILR. I have changed my signature recently. Would there be any problem?

I think its not a problem
you can change name /surname or sig
any time
for name and surname you make deed poll but I think for signature you not doing any thing
only you inform your banks
if you apply visa or ilr you can sign form with new sig
lets see what seniors suggest you

Re: Tier1 ILR 5 Years

Post by fusion2014 » Tue Dec 13, 2016 12:51 am

Hi
I have travelled on office work. I have requested for the letter from my employer with travel dates. My employer is providing the letter with following generic statement without mentioning my travel dates.

"As an integral part of his/her duties and responsibilities, he/she has been required to travel overseas on business trips during his/her employment in the UK."

I have tried my best explaining them the need for mentioning my travel dates, but they are not mentioning the dates.

What shall I do ?
Please help.

Tier1 ILR 5 Years

Post by fusion2014 » Sun Dec 18, 2016 4:43 pm

Hi,
I am on Tier 1 (General) category from the beginning till date.
Immigration History :
10-Jun-2011 - Came to the UK first time
17-Jul-2011 - Went back
100 days gap.
25-Oct-2011 - Came to the UK and started working.

25-Oct-2011 is the start date I am using for my continuous 5 years residence for the SET(O) ILR application.

For the following question in page 21 of SET (O) Application
I am providing the 25-Oct-2011 and not mentioning 100 days gap before 25-Oct-2011.
Is this acceptable for my case?
(or)
Should I need to provide the 10-Jun-2011 for the following question and mention the 100 days as absences?
Please advice me.
"6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first
entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based."
