Tier 2 General partner changing status

Post by pvquestion » Sun Dec 18, 2016 11:06 pm

My partner first came to the country on Tier 2 General Partner visa. Some time after she switched to Tier 2 General with her own sponsor. Currently, we are planning to terminate our relationship. Do I still need to inform Home Office about that? Or it is no longer relevant, since her Partner visa became invalid when she got Tier 2 General anyway.

If you each have your own independent visas then no need to inform HO as neither is dependent on the other's visa.
