Tier 2 Intracompany visa - Rejected in the past

Post by mayankpant » Tue Jan 03, 2017 2:38 pm

Hi
One of my friend had applied for a UK long term work visa 9.5 years back. At that time(2007), he was in his second company. The first company (2005-2006) where he started his career from, had been closed some one year back. It was a small company and couldnt sustain its operations. However when he mentioned that company in his visa, the Home office must have tried to verify his employment status with the company and since they could not communicate with it, they rejected his visa.

Due to this issue, he expunged that company out of his CV and from thereon, he has always mentioned his work experience starting from mid 2006 instead of 2005.
Now he is getting another opportunity in London as part of a new job offer to him. However he is not sure if his visa would be rejected due to that old incident and is not able to make up his mind whether to accept that job offer or not. That job offer is good.

If he applies for the UK visa and states his employment history starting from 2006 mid instead of 2005, will it be correct? Are there chances that his visa would again be rejected due to the past rejection history?

Please do suggest.

Regards

Don't suppress material facts.
They will be available to caseworker in applicant's file anyway.
If omitted it may raise questions over the completeness and veracity of the application.
