Hi All,

This forum greatly assisted my partner and I when we first made our eea application for a residence card so thought I would give back.

I am an Italian national and my partner is an Australian citizen who was in the UK on a Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa. We are an unmarried couple together for 10 years and living together for 5. We had been living in the UK for approx 2 years when we made our application. Our timeline is as follows:

Application sent: 22 March 2017
Payment taken: 24 March 2017
Biometric letter received: 25 May 2017
COA with no right to work received: 25 May 2017 (with Biometric letter)
Biometric submitted: 30 May 2017
Passport requested back and received: 7 June 2017
Online status "decided": 4 August 2017
Letter confirming Residence Card will be issued received: 19 August 2017
Residence Card received: TODAY - 21 August 2017!

Process took about 5 months so looks like they are getting a bit quicker. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Looks not good.
Try to check status through case id and if it is still not tracked then you have to wait.
Can you please shed a little bit on your case?
Is it a joint application or single?
Did you missed anything in documents?

Yes wait another 4 weeks, hopefully you will get your PRs
It may be possible there was an error in the system but you have your case ID.
Before this online track service there was no way to track the application and applicants only call to HO after 6 months.

Ohh yes bro you still got 2week left and I have got 4 more week I understand your feelings waiting is a painful process but as long the decision come positive you forget the pain.
You are lucky that you can track your application but I am unable to track I have tried all possible numbers but it's not regonised. So finger crossed and let's see what is going to happen.

[quote="Uk2715"][quote="vpalma"][quote="Uk2715"]Hi Guys

Today I received my package back with a refusal letter. Reason I did not include the ID of my ex spouse. Am confused right now. when we divorced I applied for retention of right(ROR) which was issued to me for another 5 yrs. I have gone 2 yrs into the 5 yrs. I don't know why they need the her ID when she is no longer my sponsor. I mate every other requirements but the ID.

This is strange to hear. I applied for permanent residence card and I was divorced and I didn't send my ex wife id at all just work history that all and I got it. And many of my friends as well. As long as you have shown you divorced and you have retained right already you absolutely don't need it. Guess the case worker is new . Get a lawyer and ask to write why you need id when divorced to reconsider your case

My Thai partner got hers after 5 months. We aren't married and I'm a dual citizen. English and Irish.

Thank Christ she has it now. Now we can relax a little more.

Hi All! Just as a final update!

We (EEA + non EEA joint application) received our documents pack back in the post today and a separate letter containing the non EEA biometrics PR card. EEA PR to follow in the coming days.

Thats's exactly 4 months as to when we sent the application. We're extremely happy!

Wishing everyone all the best in their applications!
