It reveals EU nationals who have applied for permanent residence status documents since the referendum – thought to number more than 150,000 – will be asked to apply again albeit in a streamlined process. Those who have been asked previously to show evidence of comprehensive sickness insurance will no longer have to do so.
Yes, you can work.bakedbeanpizza wrote:Can a non EEA work after receiving the CoA???
Can you travel outside the UK after requesting/receiving your passport back?

No one knows the answer to when the new law will come into effect.sahramkhalidi wrote:Dear all,
I really need an advise. I'm really worried now about the new law that even though you have been granted permanent residence you still have to apply again for settled status. MY QUESTION IS WHEN THIS NEW LAW COMING IN TO FORCE AND CAN I STILL APPLY FOR BRITISH CITIZENSHIP WITHIN THIS 2 YEAR UNTILL THE UK LEAVES THE EU IN 29th MAR of 2019 ??????
Please someone help here
Oh dear - good luck, i hope that you receive your documents soon. have you also contacted Royal mail redirection service?Nimitta wrote:Hello everyone. I could really use some help on this one. nonEEA PR application decided on 05/06/2017, PR received on 22/06/2017. The decision letter - not received. Passport and other documents - no received. I am glad I got my PR card, but still loosing my passport and a pack of quite sensitive documents is not something I am looking forward to. To get a new passport I have to go back to my country, go through a long and tedious bureaucratic process and if at all possible I would like to avoid it. What's weird I received neither papers OR the decision letter. I moved but all my mail is redirected to my new address including one requiring signature.
I called the HO, they sent me a letter requesting the following details
Full Name
Date of Birth
GWF number
IHS number
Passport number
Place of submission
Type of Visa applied for
Date of biometrics
Nationality
Applicants e-mail
Reason for escalation
I tried but was unable to get an information about GWF number and IHS number. Can anyone tell me what they are and how I get them? Thank you.
Yes I have. They need the tracking number to check it out. Can do nothing without it.fatimahh wrote: Oh dear - good luck, i hope that you receive your documents soon. have you also contacted Royal mail redirection service?
We did, but that was years ago. You have to apply for an EEA FP (if you are a family member), although you can probably avoid that if you can get in on a tourist visa. Things may have changed since then, but what you quoted has no basis in law. Where did you find it?Uk2715 wrote:Hello, pls has anybody travelled before while his application is ongoing? I've applied the same day. Nothing so far. Can you check your status onlime?
Any joy? Seems they are pretty slow at present. We are also waiting for decision dated 20 June and no sign yet of our paid for special delivery envelope being used. Guess we will have to wait for the 10 working days and take it from there.WhiteCat wrote:no..still waiting..If I don't get anything by Thursday it will be 10 working days and I will call them.myganet wrote:did you receive anything? mine says Decided 19 of June, but nothing came yetWhiteCat wrote:EU citizen
