German-argentinian couple want to live in Portugal

Hey folks,
this is my first post here.
I'm german, my girlfriend argentinian. We're not married (yet - possibly this / next year).
Up until two years ago we lived in the Netherlands, where I was able to use a special regulation in the immigration law to get a residence permit for my partner (-> a non-european person could get a 5-year residence permit if the partner was member of the european union, but not dutch).
Afaik the dutch residence permit is invalid since we de-registered from the municipality when we left.

The last 2 years we lived in Asia, and now we would like to move to Portugal for a year.
What are the ways how we could get a residence- and work-permit for her?
