Hi all,
A while back I lost my paper ISD. After calling the UKBA and searching online, I was told to complete a form for a replacement BRP costing £56. This was back in July. Finally received a letter asking me to submit my biometrics, having done all that, I assumed my application was near enough complete. Then 2 weeks ago I received a letter stating my application was rejected as I have never had a BRP before and so instead I need to apply using an NTL form. This makes no sense as the NTL guidelines suggest its to be used by people who wish to transfer their current indefinite leave to remain from a Visa or passport to a BRP. I don't have a passport or a visa, never have. Have they got it wrong? Everything I've read suggests I originally filled out the right form by applying for a replacement BRP. Please can someone shed some light?
