Did I need Comprehensive Insurance Cover EEA PR

Hi.

So I am trying to fill in the EEA PR form, like many of us here I imagine.
I came to the UK in late december 2009. Started work in January 2010, and worked in the same company, full time, until August 2012.
Then from Sept 2012 to Aug 2013 I decided to have a carreer change and became a student, and then from Sept 2013 until now have been employed.
I have all this time lived in the UK, and because I had been coming from employment to study, and been NI for 2.5 years, I was told I did not need Comprehensive Health insurance, so have no proof of having anything...
Was that correct ? I am not sure how to fill in the form now if anyone was in the same situation ?

At what academic level did you study?
Could the study be construed as vocational training?

I was working as a software developper and trained to become a maths teacher. I was even given a bursary for it.

if that's classified as vocational training then you could have retained worker status.
However it may not be counted as you have switched careers. Not sure.
Something to investigate.

Ordinarily, as a student you will have needed CSI (or alternative) in place or else your PR clock will have stopped.
