Salary/wage* from the Section 9 A. (2) Employment
Is this
- just a basic salary without any bonuses or additional payments before TAX (from the contract of employment), or
- annual Income (before TAX) that includes basic salary, bonuses, and any other additional payments received over the year (the same as detailed in the P60 form - "Total for the year")
For example:
- basic salary detailed in the contract of the employment: 30K
- on call duty: additional (every month) payment of 500 GBP on top of the basic salary
- additional duties per month: 50 - 300 GBP (working out of hours)
- bonus received in March: 1500GBP
The question is - which gross figure should be included in the Section 9 A. (2) Employment:
1. The total income for the year from the P60: 40K before tax (basic salary + additional duties + bonuses)?
OR
2. The basic salary detailed in the contract of employment: 30K before tax?
