I intend to sponsor my family to visit uk. I am a british citizen and have sufficient funds in uk bank account

Can I sponsor my family's flight cost as well along with other expneses?

Yes you can, but crucially your parents will need to demonstrate that they have self-sufficiency and strong ties to their home country in order to convince the ECO that they won't overstay in the UK.

Visitor visas for parents have become more difficult to obtain since the route to settlement for adult dependants was virtually closed in July 2012.
