I'm from the Philippines and my dad works in London. My brother joined him back in 2012 (Before the new July 2012 immigration rules). He proved sole responsibility for him and now, It's my turn to move to the UK since I'm turning 18 in July. I know that it's kind of stupid for us to wait until I'm 17 for me to join them but finances aren't really that good.
So, Does my dad need to meet the financial requirement because I read that only people applying for spouse visas need to meet the requirement of 18,500 pounds + extra if they're bringing a child along with them.[/b] My dad recently lost his job and is currently looking for one right now. Let's say that he's found a job sometime this month to March and we apply for my visa by April, Can he also use his other payslips from his previous job along with the payslip from his new one?
and what's the financial maintenance? Does he need to meet that too? Thank you
