job creation calcuation

Post by rangerover » Thu Feb 09, 2017 9:45 pm

please can zimba88 or any of the gurus help me with my job creation total hours calculation.

i am confused on how to calculate it as there appears to be conflicting information on this forum.

i have created four full time jobs in 6/7 months and below is the total breakdown:

Jul aug sep OCT NOV DEC jan
130 120 130 130 126 130 140 - job 1
130 120 130 130 126 130 140 - job 2

aug sep oct nov dec jan
120 130 130 126 130 140 - job 3
120 130 130 126 130 140 - job 4

all four employees are paid monthly and i fall under the pre-2014 transitional arrangements. thank you

Rules ONLY mention 30 hours a week to be full time.
4 jobs each job min 30 hours week, so you need min 104 weeks of full time work in total to qualify.

From the calculation above it looks you should be fine.. HO will disregard hours above 130 but will consider hours such as 120 or 126.. I would assume this is due to the calculations of weeks during those months?
