Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone here knows of any case where someone who holds a ILR and has committed no crime in the UK has had their ILR revoked as a result of travel to 'sensitive' places where they haven't committed any crime either, but only went as a tourist.
I am asking because I hold an ILR and am planning a trip to Iran. I am a Chinese citizen and wish to visit Iran purely for tourism. I know that Iran is not as 'sensitive' as Syria, Iraq, or Afghanistan except for the long-lasting political tension it has had with the UK, but I have heard of a case where a British Iranian individual (not sure if dual citizen) had their UK citizenship revoked as a result of a trip to Iran. Their family were political refugees, though.
I am also wondering whether anyone here has strong grounds to believe that their application for naturalisation was/is being delayed as a result of stamps and visas from certain countries on their passport.
Thanks in advance.
