Successful Extension with Spouse being on Payroll?

Morning All,

There has been some discussion on the forum about Spouse being paid and Investment etc,
I can understand this as a grey area(which may raise queries).

Is there any one who would be kind enough to comment who has successfully extended and spouse being on payroll?(irrespective of how long or company in profit or generating revenues)

My personal understanding is that a few (if not many )have put their spouses on PAYE and they might have received extensions but they are shy to comment for some reasons
If anyone has been rejected on the very reason, can he/she comment please.

My spouse was on payroll and he didn't complicate extension. Saying that we had invested more than the minimum
