Ok, so, after waiting of -- 2 years -- 4 months -- 6 days -- , i have received letter thats says " ... you do not qualify for leave on any basis. ..." its declined anyway for in short.

I'm trying to contatct with my lawyer but she is just doenst answering how much i tried. I think she just left me by my self and they are "xxxxxxxxx" so if any of you with this company or what so ever you call them just be-caraful. And i have paid for the services by the way, for nothing im sure now.

i dont know what else i can do after receiving this letter. I mean do i have even any options or is it just done, i mean nothing else i can do? i know i can do another 'Fresh Claim' with new evidences but i have provided any paperwork that i have got so NO new evidence.

well i have seen their advertising on here so i should be able to infrom forum users about any solicitor who is not doing their job in right, i mean anyone should be able to do this, else as we already in this condition that cant do anything in this country with not many rights we have, by through this web site we should be able to say something about this.

But anyway, if its not permitted than we all used to that word.

Hi Senu,
Yes! Send a copy of you child’s passport too. My legal aid lawyer sent mine on my behalf as further evidence and also complained about waiting time. Instruct you lawyer to do the same. It gets your files looked at at least.

Thank you Violet. I have sent a copy of passport too. I want to know one thing more please let me know once you received granted letter through email is it mention there that you are allow to public funds or not. because I'm wondering as I'm expecting accommodation from Nass during this time if I get decision same as you by email, will be able to ask from help local council.

Good morning,

Has anyone tired seeking their MP to chase up their delays; if so was it any useful or the Home Office still sends vague and generalised response to the MP ?

We submitted fresh claim earlier, but our issue that the youngest member of the family whom entitled for the 7 year private life is due to turn 18 soon. And we trying to push the home office for a decision in the time being.

Any advice would help.

Thank you

Hi Joe15,

MP has been sent chase letter for my case of delay decision three weeks before but I still didn't hear back from MP yet. Could be HO didn't reply him yet. I will let you know what I receive as soon as I hear from MP. This is only my hope too as been sending them many complaints nothing received useful.

Hi senu,

Sorry late response. I can’t log in for the past days. I am well no. Thank you. I rang nass last week however there’s no update, no answer from the home office. But the person I spoke to from nass sent an escalation something. He will get back to me as soon as he receive and update. How’s your nass application?

Congrats on getting your daughters passport. Also I am working now with refugee council. I will ask my solicitor to send a chase letter again.

Hi Senu,

Thank you for your message. I wish you all well and hope.

I have send the solicitor an email asking to chase them up, but I doubt they will do anything. Quite useless most of the times. I also contacted the MP on Monday but waiting for a reply back.

Let me know once you receive any correspondence. Thanks.

I did rang Nass today but didnt get any new news so still waiting for accommodation and FS decision both. new solicitor has been sent chase up letter last Monday and I can trust him from previous experience working with him. He did my second daughter's British Nationality. And good things is he did not charge any money only started working on my case therefore I have to pay him once my BRP ready to collect.
Wish you to hear good response soon.

Hi senu,

Thanks for the thought. I think the best way for our nass accommodation is to wait, I check the news that they’re dispersing people to hotels far from where our preferred area, altho they’ve been doing that but it’s tougher nowadays because of covid. I was told by support worker not too rush with nass. That’s what I thought as well they won’t give you regardless of your eviction date.

That’s great to hear senu that things are falling into place for you. Fingers crossed and praying for you that you will get your BRP and Liberty back. I have so many things to work on too as I was advised as well to start a matrimonial proceedings, injunction, to carry on with my civil case to my husband. I spoke to my solicitor yesterday, she will send a chase letter to the home office. I will keep you posted.

(Reposting my enquiry in existing topic, as per Moderator's advice)

Hello all,

Can anyone please tell me how long it is taking for new refugees' confirmation of status and biometric cards to be sent out at the moment?

I'm asking for my partner, who found out in March that he had won his case at the First Tier Tribunal, got asked by UKVI to email in his photo in June, but is still waiting on his BRP & written confirmation of status. The Home Office are still citing Covid-19 as the reason for the delay when chased.

We know that Covid-19 has been delaying everything, but the prolonged wait is causing a lot of stress, and we just want to get some kind of idea as to how long those delays are.

Has anyone else had a similar experience, and actually received their confirmation of status and BRP recently?

Many thanks

Hi Joe,

Thank you. count down start for 4 weeks and praying this time they will able to do it within time they have given. I believe MP's chase up powerful too because for my case MP sent out chase up asking conclude my case before 30th September and the mean time solicitor sent out chase up. both side have given me relief to hear timeline at last. Otherwise i was keep sending complaints each month around 8 or 9 month without getting any useful information.
wish you good luck.

Hi Senu congratulations in advance. could you please let me know when you did your daughters passport did you get texts messages while the application was being processed. Or you only received a message when they acknowledged them receiving your application. I’ve just done my daughters application via postal route. Thanks

Hi Sheilam,

Thank you. I have applied my daughter's passport 22nd july then got automated text to confirm that they have received application on 27th july and then 3rd August received text that said you should received new passport within few working days. after two days of text passport was in my doorstep. but support documents have received later than that.

Hi Senu, that’s great news. It a good thing you sent the chase ups letter and child’s passport. In my case I was given an 8 week time-frame and they send me a decision letter in less than two weeks. So fingers crossed you’d probably get positive news before then.
