Hi people who have claimed asylum and done the interviews before can you please tell me how long the home office usually take to make the decision after attending the second interview.

I just did an interview and they have requested for further evidence of which I'm planning to send next week.

what happened with your NASS support when you get 30 months visa?

Have you reply to my question in which you said HO is going to grant 30 months visa ? I want to reassure because i am recently start using this website.

my question is that

i did my last fresh claim in Liverpool in sept 2017 when my son has spent 6 and half year in UK. After that i did not received any reply from HO. Yesterday ( when my son completed more than 7 years in UK) , i received a biometrics enrolment letter which states that enrol your biometrics to proceed your application within 5 days. This letter also states that to check and advise name ,date of birth and nationality. this must be within 5 days of enrolling your biometrices to allow any changes to be made before your card is issued.

My question to you is that : Have you reciced letter with same wording from HO for your biometrices?

I would be very thankful your reply.

yes after further submission if home office require biometric , its mean HO going to grant soon and my lot of friends got that ,

yes you will get housing benefit and you will get 28 days notice from Nass to terminate NASS support and then you need to apply housing benefits and other benefits within 28 days Nass notice period

further submission in sept 2017 when my son spent 6& half 7 months in the UK
ago.now I received. Biometric enrollment letter last week.
As my passport expired in the period of asylum consideration and HO hold our passports .

Do I need renew my passprt before HO BRP card ?

Is HO will issue BRP card without renewal of passport?

Please anwser my question , I would be very thankful .

here is my time line , i got permission by post for fresh asylum and i post fresh asylum on 16 August 2017 and they received on 17 August and acknowledgement letter received dated 26th of August 2017. after that no news.
my further submission base on asylum and child Born in UK and spend 7 years in UK. i came in UK in July 2006 as student and I applied asylum in April 2012 and HO refused in March 2014 and appeal right exhaust in April 2017.

My case is similar to you. My son spent 7 years in uk . I did my fresh claim in sept 2017, when my son spent 6 and half years. I did not get any reply after that . Last week I received letter for biometric enrollment when my son completely spent 7 years in Uk. I did biometric .

What do you think aboug this biometric letter?
Please if you any update in your case, and don't mind , please share with me.

As asylum seeker, you don't require valid passport , HO give you BRP card without renewal your passport . if somebody applied FLR(FP) Then he must present valid passport.

Don't worry if they are not sending you reporting letter . Don't remind them .so you done your job and it's up to HO what they want.

No they can't arrest you because you are with children , Ho process is very slow some time they send reporting letter after 3 to 6 months, one of my friend he got letter after 1 year.

I am not with children what will the case then,my friend is pregnent she ask is it safe for her to rent a house and give that address to home office,no nass support?is she can apply for nass support?

Without children , you always in danger,if you are pregnant then you are safe and HO is not detain pregnant woman, if she is pregnant she can apply section 4 asylum support and it's very lengthy nass support forum. So hope for best

So you are on Nass support and Ho will allow you public fund no need to worry

What is fresh claim I'm getting confused I see many posts regarding fresh claim.

I claimed asylum last year in April and in August I received a letter for biometric, in October I received a letter saying that they are unable to make decision within 6 months if I can allow them 6 more months and after 5 months of that I received a letter to do the second interview.

So I am just wondering if I still have to wait for another 6 months again for the decision because they send the letter in October asking me to give them 6 months to make decision and last month I received that letter for an interview before I reach 6 months and I have already done interview so 6 months from October is supposed to be this month.

I don't if my question is clear I really didn't know how to put I just tried.
