if your Landlord give you house on rent without check right to rent then its fine and if Landlord have any observation about your visa status then he can check right to rent from Home office website below link

Hi Munirabid

What is fresh claim I'm getting confused I see many posts regarding fresh claim.

I claimed asylum last year in April and in August I received a letter for biometric, in October I received a letter saying that they are unable to make decision within 6 months if I can allow them 6 more months and after 5 months of that I received a letter to do the second interview.

So I am just wondering if I still have to wait for another 6 months again for the decision because they send the letter in October asking me to give them 6 months to make decision and last month I received that letter for an interview before I reach 6 months and I have already done interview so 6 months from October is supposed to be this month.

I don't if my question is clear I really didn't know how to put I just tried.

Thank you

if some body got refusal on asylum or human rights claim and all appeal right finished and if he made further representation its call fresh claim or further submission.

there is no time limit to give asylum decision i got my asylum decision after 2 years and it was refused

its mean you are granted and you will get biometric card soon and you need to book appointment with job center to apply job seekers allowance , so after getting biometric card , Nass will give you 28 days notice to finished your asylum support and In between you need to apply mainstream benefits.

Ohh this waiting game is depressing. Very frustrating, last time I was told to wait 6 months so now I just did an interview last month I don't know if I have to wait another 6 months

Hi Dupze
I can understand that waiting is just killing.
Actually I did my asylum fresh claim in Sept 2017 when my son spent 6&half years in u
UK in Liverpool and on 4 April I received my biometric enrollment letters including my all dependents . I am still waiting for reply. Now my son spent more than 7 years in UK.

How long your children spent in Uk?

Hi I think you will hear good news soon they usually say home office make decision after 4 to 6 weeks of doing biometric enrollment and my friend who was waiting for many years for her asylum to be decided just got granted now under private life when her daughter turned 7 years old. She was given 2.5 years.

My baby is too small only 7 months old but me and his daddy have already send the biometrics and now home office send the letter saying I have to send his passport size photos because they are unable to send BRP enrollment form without them.

All the best

Hi Dupze

Thanks a lots for reply.
Best wishes for you and for your family.
Mostly friends say that it would be good news.
But waiting without any written confirmation is really hard thing.
I feel pleasure to share with you that I received a call from unknown number after 2 weeks of my biometric and he said I am calling from Home office and he confirmed my details to book my appointment with job centre.

Again thanks for your great prompt response.

Take care 🙂

Hi KuraiJ,

Most of us can tell you that you have a bit of a wait. Am still waiting since Sept '17 and other before that. Are you reporting or not? The wait game is very real.

Hi princess 12 maybe they are processing your application form. When did they ask for photos of your baby.

For me I'm confused at the moment they ask for photos of my dependant I sent them the same day I received the letter and the next day I received the refusal letter so I'm really confused what is happening because when I check both the letters the one requesting photos and the refusal letter are done at the same day and signed by different people.

I can't get hold of my lawyer
