Hey Stillwaiting2020 sorry that's only by mistake, thanks for replying and taking time off reading my post I contacted my solicitor they just said nothing we can do and also I contacted my local MP after 3 working days BRP delivery department response this ( Thank you for your patience and co-operation in complying with the advised 5 working day wait. We can see from the notes on our system that we have still not received confirmation of your National Insurance Number (NINO) from the Department of Work and Pensions.
As the estimated waiting time has now passed, we will contact the team responsible for NINO operations and request that they prioritise the case.
When your permit is dispatched, you will receive an email with further details about how to track delivery progress ) could you please explain for me exactly what does it mean? Thanks so much

Hi Hawrea90, I believe after Home office has concluded decision about your case, Home office apply for National Insurance Number on your behalf, but the office responsible for Nino has not completed your application yet maybe due to lockdown, and Home office can't send out your BRP without the Nino number on it. maybe NINO office ommitted your file after returning from lockdown because to get NI dosent take months, hopefully you will receive it soon

Did you get any response Rina? I am still waiting for mine. I hope they won't take too long to give their decision?

The wait is really frustrating, mine is 10months now, fresh claim and no response yet. Is yours fresh claim or initial asylum claim?

I had my screening early 2019 and only had my substantive interview nearly 7 weeks. I kept sending them emails to the complaints departments then covid hit. They eventually responded with a date literally a week after my email.

Has your application for asylum been granted. If yes, then they are the company assigned by ukvi to deliver Brp cards

That's good news for you in the sense that they did refuse your fresh claim but has given you right to work. Which implies you have a good case and will win it when it's presented properly when you go to court.
Also for your NI appointment, as an asylum seeker all you need is your ARC CARD and prove of address. If your not sure call them or walk into any jobcentre and ask for the requirements for asylum seekers.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are well.
We applied for asylum January 2021, we did screening interview and we filled out the questionnaire and also sent all the documents with details of our case in another post. We have not done the substantive interview yet. Two days ago, we received a letter to do Biometrics for BRP. Is this a good sign? What does this mean pls? Is there anyone with a similar case? Thanks,

Hi Indu, that's a bit of relief, keeping people for years without decision and without work permit, is inhumane, hope you will put yourself together and find a job. Congrat for that positive news
