Plz help!!
Its been 1year and 2 months since I claimed fresh asylum on basisbof human rights, but I have not got main interview yet.I am living in private accomodation.Does taking NASS support and accomodation matters earlier decision?
Hi aleeza, no, NASS and accommodation won’t matter. There’s no definite answer to that. I had my main interview 7mos after my screening. I had my screening at Dover and my main interview at Solihull it lasted for 4hrs. Just patiently wait and pray. It will come. I know it’s never easy but we can’t do anything about it for now.

Has anyone got any idea if they know of an email address I can write to regarding my delay? Basically complaints department for asylum claims. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Congrats Jalalleo.
My Update: Last month received my 5 years leave to remain
Screening done in February
Interview in August
Wishing you all the best
@Tina, can you please give us a brief history of your case? Still confused as had my screening in march and still haven't received an invitation for an interview or anything? Quite depressing really.
Hi Rina, I'm the username Tina28, just changed the username cos wasn't able to login with my previous username, lol. I was guessing that you have received a letter for your interview as mine was about 6 months after I claim asylum.

I've came to the UK with visitor visa twice. In the last visa a made asylum claim. Lived here with my partner and got pregnant. I was pregnant when I was claiming asylum and had my baby born here too.
Hope you receive your letter from the HO soon.
Hi @Tina12
Congratulations on your grant.
Could you kindly elaborate on what exactly your claim was based on?🙏🏾
And do you have a British child which also aided your application? because it seems we might have similar claim.
It's been two and half month since I had main interview and no decision yet. And were you granted refugee or humanitarian protection?
Thanks
Hi John200101, many thanks.
I claimed base on refugee and got refugee leave to remain. Yes I do have a British child that I add as my dependent. Make lot of prayer and I know the waiting is depressing. Hoping you have the same outcome.

Omgooodness Sam! That is wonderful news for you. Am so happy for you. It is incredible how quickly they have responded not to mention how close the date you have been given for your main interview is. Literally next week, wow!!! PLEASE keep me updated on how it goes.
I have had a bad time with my solicitor so I have ended up doing the asylum case alone after a disastrous time with my solicitor during my FLR application. Maybe worth getting a PAP done after all after hearing your news. Sounds like your case is strong too as you lodged it in July. :D

@sam forgot to also ask you. Did they refund you your FLR application money? If so, when did they do it. I had my health charge refunded but not my application

Strange as some people have been refunded that fee. Also the letter that states that I had switched applications did say they will refund application fees as I had paid for mine. Please look into that or check your letter that must have been sent to your lawyer to say that you had switched applications

I am based in London but to be honest don't think I even afford those prices. Thank you so much though.

So they sent my lawyer a letter confirming that my FLR application was void and they will ensure that the immigration and portal fees will refunded because your (I) client paid for her application
