Question point 187 in Policy Guidance for Ext application

Post by hina_pirzada » Fri Feb 10, 2017 9:29 pm

Dear Members,

I need some clarification on point 187 mention in guidance which is

"If you are reporting via Real Time, you may still have relevant documents for an employee prior to the introduction of RTI Legislation, such as a P45, which should also include in your application"

It is not clear for me the P45? At the time of hiring if employee has not his P45 so normally we get signed P46.

What HO is looking for are they looking employee prvious employer P45?

Please clear the confusion.

Regards

They do NOT want P45 of an employee before joining, that has no relevant information for them.
Also P46 is NOT in use since the end of 2013 when RTI came into force. RTI system automatically adjusts tax codes of employees who have no P45, so proper tax will be deduced eventually.
