May I ask a supplementary question to this one?
If my husband's application for Further Leave to Remain is made in person, during the 28 days preceding the expiry of first 30 months from entry and the next 30 months runs from the date of approval at that personal appointment, (rather than expiry of existing via) then it will expire before we reach 60 months from entry ... Is that right?
Should we delay our personal appointment until after the 30 months expires but before the visa itself expires (a matter of 10 days later)?
for clarity: Entry clearance visa expires 15 May 2017, 30 months from entry is 5 May - was planning to apply in April but reading this I am worried we will fall short at the end.
