Visa Denied - Will this impact my current visa decision?

Post by cblpah » Wed Mar 01, 2017 10:39 am

I am a US citizen living in the US, engaged to a UK national. We are currently applying for a fiancee visa.

I came to the UK on a Tier-4 Student Visa. When I first applied for this visa, my application was denied due to a (stupid) misunderstanding on my part- I did not certify my bank documents!!! I submitted my materials again within two weeks and received my visa the second time.

My question is- should I mention that I was denied the Tier-4 Student Visa when I first applied? I do not have the letter of refusal though. Will this impact my fiancee visa decision?

You need to mention it if/where the firm asks.

No impact on current visa application.
