Hi...flr fp refused on 7 year child, reason minimum income requirement was not met.
Very down.Son is now 8 and half, daughter close to 7, both born here never been abroad.I am living here since 2001. Although overstayed since 2009 always trying to regularized.
Any hope any how please?
I'm confused, Flr Fp has no minimum income requirement though?!

It does if the OP ticked FLR(FP) 5 year parent route.

I believe that the refusal is unfair.
But wait for Casa and others they have more knowledge to give you a guidance , They will be able to advise
May God solve the issue for you

This exactly my confusion
Cos every lawyer says that there is minimum income on what u have to live and care about ur dependants but on the forum ppl says that FLR(fp) doesn't have a financial requirement
So if u got refused then HO take into considiration ur income and refusing ur application so u can't rely on public funds
The question is what income they consider as appropriate for this application

Hi CROO1...the wording of refusal
Application was on hold following a pause appendix FM decision making which began 22 feb2017.This applied to application and consider under FM where minimum income req was not met and where the application following for refusal involved a child

Were you given a right of appeal? High success rate upon appeal, the only thing you may be waiting about a year of more before the appeal date, also if your son is now 8 and a half, very soon, he will turn 10 and can register as a british citizen.

Imps"
You application appears to be considered as partner of settled person with minor dependent s and paragraph ex1 not considered from what I understand.
Apply for only the kids who seem to qualify and once granted then do yourself.
Any body please correct me if it's wrong advice.

Really sorry to hear this, I'm confused as to why you should be asked to meet income requirement under this category. I wish you luck in JR.

Shouldn't a family with a child who has spent 7 year be applying under (Family life as a parent 10 yr route) ?

It should be Private Life 10 year route if the parents of the child are still together as a couple. Family life as a parent is for single parents, where the parent has sole or shared responsibility for the child.

Sorry but what about reasons for refusal ? As far as I heard the re is no financial requirement on FLR FP so why HO even look at this ? And also the section 5 in the form
Applicant supposed to show income and evidence of it
?????????
