Don’t worry your application will be definitely granted .you got child so I don’t think there is any thing more helpful than that.
I submitted my application 15th October 2018 and still didn’t hear any thing yet.my application is flr fp partner route
Thank you for the positive words, it gives me hope! Its torturous isn't it. Fingers crossed you hear soon and get a good result
It is really torturous.your case they should consider on exceptional circumstances I am not seeing any negativity in your application
We all hope for the best and good wish for those who is waiting for their outstanding application included me
what prevented him from applying for an entry clearance instead?
The only application that we had a chance of getting was flr fp due to our financial circumstances and my health, it's been a rough 6 years and talking to our lawyer we were told this was the best option for us

Hi all, I want to share my immigration history and the time line to encourage other in the same situation. I came to the UK as a student in 2013 and meet a German national who we got married in 2014, we were been called for an interview at Liverpool and I was been detained and issued with removal directions. A day to the deportation, my judicial review was successful and I was been asked to go and sign but I absconded.my passport and other documents were been retained by the home office. I met my wife in the late 2014 and we had children. Now this is my timeline as I did flr fp application premium service:
Flr fp( two British children) submitted on 22/05/2019
Appointment for biometric: 29/05/2019
Flr fp granted: 30/05/2019
Still waiting for brp..
I hope this will encourage others
Good luck to you all

Hi everyone;
I have been a silent reader for a long time. I have applied for my second extension for the 10 years partner route. We have a British child who is 2.5 years old. My wife is British as well. My first extension was on Flr fm. But this time we couldn’t meet the requirements so applied on Flr fp.

Application submitted: 27/11/2018
(Online application)
Biometric done: 28/11/2018
Acknowledgement letter: 03/12/2018
Received an email last Friday 17/05/2019 for further document they were asking a letter to prove that my child resides with me.Tomorrow i will try to get this letter from our GP.My question is after asking for additional document how long it takes to get the decision and what can it be?
Thanks

I sent the requested letter from GP on 21 of May. They received it on the following day. I got grant letter yesterday on 31 of May. The letter dated on 23 of May so it took 8 days to arrive me. I got 30 months on 10 years partner route. This time I had applied 3 months earlier than my expiration date. On the letter they mentioned applications needed to be done no earlier than 28 days.
From submitting the application to receiving the visa it took exactly 6 months.
I arranged my BRP card delivery on 4 of june. It is such a relief.
I wish everyone to get positive results. Best of luck!!

Hi Alaga247,

Just wanted to ask for your fee waiver, did they return your original documents before sending your approval letter??

I applied for fee waiver just over a week ago, I have just received all my original documents back saying they have all been electronically scanned, and I am freaking out.

I made an online application on 24th May for the extension of FLR (FP) and provided biometrics on 28th May (2 weeks and 4 days ago); however I am yet to receive an acknowledgement letter from the Home Office. My leave to remain expires on 30th June, and for me to continue working beyond this date my employer is requesting for the acknowledgment letter so that they can contact employer checking service to ascertain that I have an existing application with the Home Office which would trigger Section 3C rights that enables me to carry on working until the application is decided.

For the forum members who have recently made application, from your experience how long did it take to receive an acknowledgement letter from the date biometrics was provided?

You get a confirmation email with a reference number when you apply online which confirms you have submitted an application. You only get further correspondence if you choose to use SUPER PRIORITY!

I submitted mine in March and had bio a few days after and thats all! NO letters, no email. 2grand and NOT even a thank you or see you later email lol   (Make me sick how much of a rip off the system is)
IMpossible is 2 letters to long!

It’s a total rip off and because it’s immigrants that are affected no one seem to care including the Parliamentarians.

I called the Home Office customer services 2 days ago and the lady I spoke to said she didn’t work for the Home Office and her job was just to give general immigration advice, she has no access to applicant’s records either. In frustration with the system I told her how immigrants are being ripped off through the immigration system; the lady was kind to listen to all my complaints but was not able to help in any way.

I have followed this up with a complaint email to the Home Office Public Enquiry email address and hopefully they will reply. How can I make an application that costed me 2,152 pounds and not get an acknowledgement letter that will enable my employer to contact them through their Employer Checking Service to ascertain my eligibility to continue working until the application is decided, this is grossly unfair.

I totally feel your pain! I work in a .gov.uk office myself so I kinda know how this shit works, unfortunately immigration/visa is an unpopular opinion!

P.S. My last job 3 years ago, they were hounding me for my resident permit literally as soon as it expired and I had to use same day service to renew at the time. Luckily for me, my .gov.uk job no one even cares! So i am really not bothered myself :P When it comes, it comes.. 8) Good luck..

Hello everyone,
For those who are still waiting for Decision be patience and you will finally get the decision you are looking for. Most of all PRAY and you will indeed see the results.I have been an overstayer for 13 yrs and been Granted 30 months Ten year root through my partner.I have cried, lost sleep just the thought of Home Office decision.Ive even isolated myself from people. When I had my kid I was like what will I do in case i get separated from them?I was terrified.
Reading on stories here what people are going through and some similar cases as mine made me not loose hope at the end of the tunnel. :)
I can now have a breather and start a new life from the shadows.
There's a post by Baraza kept me going. And another post about a Parent who was in a similar situation as me and she got positive result.I Decided to kneel down and pray crying to God.I did that last week and surprising my solicitor gave me a ring yesterday. He was joyful, I cried and am still doing so coz it is unbelievable that I had to wait 5 months 10 days from the time of biometrics for them to decide.
I can indeed start my life now.

Prayer is Powerful and I thank my solicitor for taking my complex case as if it was no big deal. :)

Application flr fp partner route submitted 16th Oct 2018
Got refusal today with right of appeal

Reasons
Me and my wife which is white British can move to my country of origin and live there.and Ex1 not apply on me because I am an over stayer since March 2017 according to them but they clearly ignored 39e.
I will submit appeal soon
I am still happy with the decision now I can report without fear and I am 100percent sure I will get justice from the court. It’s all copy paste decision 😊

We spent and borrow money to put applications of time and not enough evidence we put some time so they have more chances to start picking on it. This time they saying about e-ltrp 2.1 and 2.2. Which is I heard they using for criminals and saying I have breached immigration laws because I am an over stayer.tomororw solicitor lodging appeal and on Monday I am reporting.what a joke of life seriously 😢

Pray and have Hope that they will grant you and dont worry yourself about it.Try and keep busy..It was hard counting days which turned to weeks then months then I realised am not doing myself justice. That moment I decided to just let go of the burden and Let God guide me is when a Miracle happened. All will be well hun.

Hello Happymummy,

Here's a very happydaddy 😁

I was blessed when reading your post and it gave me the strength I needed to pray to the Lord and He listened to my prayer. We got a decision today, I prayed on Thursday 20th and the Tribunal sent the letter to me the next day 21th with reached US this morning. He is faithful!

We had our hearing in May and the judge asked for 4 weeks to announce his decision. We've been so blessed throughout and even more when we found out our judge is also a servant of the Lord.

We lived as overstayers for 10 years as we only had a visitor visa back then. Not an easy life. We applied for leave to remain based on 7 year residency, our daughter now 7 and a half was born here.

Submitted our application in 2017 and year later home office refused with the right of appeal. We've appealed and after a 5 months wait had our appeal last May.

Today we got the papers in the post, allowed on human rights grounds. We're supper happy and I would like to thank some people here that helped a lot from their stories. I have learned a lot.

Many people ignored, others probably didn't know how they could help and others even tried to discourage us when our case was refused, saying that I should keep trying until my daughter turned 10 so that she could get the British citizenship. But, and this is a big but, in God we trust!

Anyone out there still waiting I say, don't lose hope. We've been there, we still feel the pain and we know how you feel, but it will get better and the joy will be overwhelming, trust me.

To Him be the glory forever Amen!
