I applied for the FLR(FP) based on my 7 year old son. I am still waiting on a decision but i would like to give some advise. Please be as honest as possible in all applications. I applied for a fee waiver (it was daunting) but i was honest and very clear with the Home Office and i got the fee waiver.
I applied for the visa and still very honest all the way through, i am hopeful and positive. I just wanted to give my 2 cents worth

Give the court a call, it usually helps

You timeline contradicts your story some how. How did you get additional documents requested in 30th july and again you posted few days ago to say the HO sent you an email to request Birth Certificates?

Was the grant decision done before you sent these certificates? Cause you said on your timeline granted on 15 oct.

Hi everyone, i have been a silent reader for along time years perhaps.

I dont have my timeline yet as i havent put together the dates as yet.

But i have applied FLR FP. Under 4 British Settled children.

Application was done Feb or March 2019

Two weeks ago got requested additional documents: some that i have sent previously with application, i sent them agains and those that I couldn’t supply i attached a cover letter to explain why.

Not heard anything back from HO to date.

Lastly for those like me lets not loose hope, some day we will have our freedom be able to lookafter and take care of our children and families. I pray for you all. 🙏🏾

Hi Junior123

I was asked for additional documents twice within my application journey, the first on the 23/07 when i did my biometrics and the second a couple of days ago. No contradictions

Hi

The date on the letter which is the 15/10 is the day after the request for further documents (14/10). I sent the birth certificates via email and confirmed with the case worker if it was still required via post and i was advised the scanned copies were clear and sufficient enough. the decision letter and biometric cards arrived on 18/10 (both dated 15/10)

Hi Junior123

I understand, i come to the board to get some sort of timeline of my own, i tried mirroring similar experiences so at least i would have an idea when the decision would come. I know good news is coming your way, keep the faith as rejoicing is coming.

Hi mady121719

I gave them all they asked for on the fee waiver application, i was eventually asked to provide a break down with an explanation of the transactions on my bank statement as well as my husband's bank statement. We are a family of four and i was open and honest about affordability, debts and employment and lack of employment. I attached a letter from a friend (who had borrowed me money previously) stating that the amount for the application isn't something she can afford to borrow me. I don't think any information provided is too much or unnecessary as you can never tell what eventually tips the scales in your favour.
I hope this helps.
