Hi everyone,
I have a good news to share, application granted.
Date of application: 14th May 2020
Biometric: 25th September 2020
Decision date: 04th February 2021.
It’s been a long battle, since September, I escalated on many others but was told that FLP is a complex application and there’s no timescale. I even got my MP involved no decision. In January, I escalated again and got the same response and I also made a complaint which the reply was received yesterday same issue saying no timescale and complaint can’t be held. Last week I send an email to a department and I think I met with an Angel who said she would escalate for me and I should Ghiberti it 5 working days rather than the usual 10 working days. God so good a decision came in this morning.
Congrats on your application. Pls can you tell me what department you escalated the issue to so I can as well do so bcus I have been waiting on my application for 8 months now. Tnx

Hi all,
Want to update about my first flr fp application
Fee waiver applied: 11/08/2020
Fee waiver approved: 27/08/2020
Application made: 10/09/2020
Biometric done: 22/10/2020
Decision: approved
Decision email received: 03/02/2021
BRP: waiting
Congratulations on your success and everybody else and good luck to we all still waiting.
Please can I ask you about the fee waiver chance of success because I’m still employed but my company don’t have work at the moment and I’m not qualify for furlough..basically no income,I’m father of 2kids and 1 stepdaughter all British and paying child maintenance for my 2kids but still have my wages showing in bank statements back in early January but not enough for the application.
Please base on your experience do you think I have a chance of success.
Thank you.
According to your scenario you have a very good chance of fee waiver approval, if you don’t have enough funds available in your bank account to cover your fee then you can argue your case. Show all your income from all the sources and your expenditure for the past 6 months. Show all bank accounts in your household even children’s as well. Don’t hide anything be honest definitely you will succeed.
Thank you and yes I have proof last 6 month income and expenditure of the household but not kids bank statement because only have saving that they can only have access when they turn 16yrs was opened when I’m still with my ex-partner and she don’t want to give me anything at all to support any of my application.
Hi @mya101 we seem to be in the same boat. Can you keep updated on how your application is going Tnx

I’m currently on 10 years parent route and i will like to sponsor my new partner who lives outside UK. I can’t see anywhere online if i can sponsor my partner’s visa while I’m on FLR(P) visa. Is this possible and how do i go about it?

You cannot sponsor a new partner on FLR FP. You will only be able to that once you have ILR.
You should probably also start your own topic rather than tagging onto this one.

Anyone got news on their application? This is absurd it’s been 7months and still waiting for the decision. I’ve done everything calling, escalating it with local MP, even complaint multiple times and nothing.

The process could be so frustratingly slow. You need loads of patience and setting your mind to other things to occupy it. At the end wish you success on this path.

Hi grace,
I received a feedback from my local MP just now. That’s what they were telling on their email addressing to my case that it was complex and has no specific timescale due to the complexity of my case . Lol but those who arrived from Syria this week they gave them ILR for free. I don’t understand why it is so hard for them to just decide on our cases but could decide today for those in the name of humanitarian help, I respect them but I just felt it’s so unfair. Well atleast they confirmed receipt of my documents and has been returned back to my solicitor. I hope they decide sooner

Applying for first extension flr fp parent route 10 years ...but in document section do I need to tick all the box?(eg; payslip and bank statement although not mandatory)
