Hello Emman, hope you are well.

I've read here you have applied for a fee waiver. I am now in the process of doing the same but I came across this and looking for help form people like you in order to know what to provide.

There's this list of docs they ask and I came across this saying we need to gather ''Documentary evidence to show all household outgoings covering the period of 16 months> For example, receips and household bills'.

I mean, how can one have all the receipts from day to day life such as supermarket etc?

Household bills are easier but what about everything else?

Can you say what you did in this part of the application and how much were you able to gather?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Best regards

Hi Iramkhan,

Can you please share your experience with the fee waiver?

I'm preparing one right now. Did you use a solicitor?

Thank you

I want to share my application situation following.

Application type: FLR FP (first extension)
Fee Waiver Request Submitted: 8/05/2021
Fee Waiver Accepted: 03/07/2021
Application Submitted on : 06/07/2021
Application type : Online
Online Documents Upload (ukvi): 08/07/2021
Reuse of Biomatrics because of covid email : 09.07.2021
( HO asked me to just upload a selfie).
Additional Documents Requested: No
Decision : Waiting
BRP Card Received: Waiting

I also applied for Zambrano carer On 30 june 2021.
I haven't heard anything from HO for more than 7 months. Is there anyone have same situation with 2 parallel applications.
Im worried because may be its delay because of both applications at same time.
If anybody have the same situation please share it.

Hello warid6955321
My timeline is almost the same as yours, my fee waiver was granted in May 2021, application submitted in 15/July/2021, biometric done on 17/August/2021. And now we are in January 2022 still not heard anything from the Home office. Will definitely update you if anything come up.

Thanks Eliz for your reply,
Have you received any COA or any email confirming the right to work?
I didn't get anything. Just a letter asking passport for EUSS Scheme but no COA and email asking for uploading the documents and reuse of my Biomatrics for FLR FP.

Hi warid6955321, I am almost in the same situation as you. I applied under Zambrano EUSS on 30/06/21 and my FLR FP visa application was submitted on 26/11/21. I sent my passport and sons British passport with my Zambrano EUSS application through the post. I was asked to submit a selfie instead of going for a biometrics appointment for my FLR FP application, due to covid etc. I have only received a letter acknowledging my Zambrano EUSS application and nothing else. I will keep you updated.

This is exactly my position now. Submitted Zambarano in August, so far only letter of acknowledgement. My 2.5 LTR expired yesterday 25th January 2022, already submitted extension on 4th of January going for biometrics on 31st of January....now I leave everything in God's hands

Just had a look on gov.uk website. It states average processing time is about 8 months. However, it can take longer on certain circumstances. Praying to get a reply soon. Anyone who has applied in July 2021 please keep me updated. Thanks 😊

Apply for leave to remain as a partner, parent or on the basis of your private life (10-year routes or 5-year parent route to settlement)

If you’re currently applying under a 10-year route to settlement (or 5-year parent route to settlement), there are no standard processing times for applications submitted as a partner, parent or on the basis of your private life. The average wait time for a decision is currently 8 months. We are working hard to reduce this.

Please note that there may be circumstances which result in your application taking slightly longer.

If you need to make urgent travel overseas (for example, due to a family bereavement), we may be able to provide a faster decision. Please contact UKVI.

Hello,

When applying for a fee waiver, one must submit their application before their current visa expires.

I have submitted my application 3 days ago and was given 10 days to upload all the documents. My visa expires tomorrow but I have submitted and received the confirmation that the application has gone through.

Will they consider that I applied only when the documents are uploaded(past the expiry date for my visa), or the submission date will actually be of 3 days ago?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Your application will be considered by the date of submission.
