Do anyone know the longest flr(fp) waiting time.
Mine’s now clocking 1 year 1 month. It will at least help some people relax their minds a bit.

Good news! my online checking has finally turned to decided. I couldn't believe my eyes I had to check multiple times to make sure. I'm remaining positive of the outcome because my sister who applied two weeks after me picked up her 30 months extension today.
Here is an updated timeline:

Applied for a renewal (10 year route) based on private life
Application Received: 29/03/2017 (by post to Sheffield)
Visa Expired: 14/04/2017
Biometric letter received: 11/05/2017
Biometrics done: 17/05/2017
Online checking service says 'awaiting a decision' updated 11th September 2017
Decision update: 'Decided' 7th November 2017
Documents Received: Awaiting

This thread and the community has been really useful and helpful with me having hope for a good outcome. I wish everyone the best!!
A huge Congratulation to you in advance, I'm positive it's a good news my friend. From the look of things it seems March 2017 applications are now being decided, a couple of people have posted decided status who applied in March.

The longest I have seen on here is around 2 years based on 7 year rule though.

Application type (FLR(FP) 10 Year Route British partner and British Child
Application Submitted on : 16/09/2016
Postal or In Person Application : POSTAL via Solicitor
Biometric Letter Received : 13/12/2016
Biometrics Enrolled on : 14/12/2016
Additional Documents Requested on (if any): NONE
Decision of Application : Awaiting
Date of Decision : Awaiting
Online status changed: 1st updated on 25th May then updated on 30th June .
No more update shown on the website.
Contacted MP 25 October 2017 as father was very sick and will have operation to remove brain tumour
Still waiting ... one year and nearly 2 months.
May Allah help all of us
This is the MP reply:
Dear XXXXX
I write with regard to your settlement visa (reference number XXXXXX9). Dr XXXXXwas very sorry to learn of your father's tumour and wishes him a speedy recovery.

I spoke with UKVI today and they tell me that your recent letter and evidence of your father's medical problems has been received. This will be taken into consideration and usual practice is for applicants with these kind of extenuating circumstances to be placed ahead of others in the queue as the consideration process continues.

One thing gave me hope: he told me that if you were to experience a significantly longer wait from now, you would have been warned via letter. Your decision should hopefully be imminently relayed to you because of the length of time you have waited. If it was to be much longer, you would have been told.

I am sorry not to be able to say anything more concrete.

Hi ,my immigration history is kinda a long story lol .
Came to the uk in 2007 with an eea family permit (5 years) went off the rail in 2012 and had some criminal record but no imprisonment. I didn’t qualify permanent stay as eea member because I wasn’t staying with my eea family . Met my British partner, moved in and we had a son of which I decided to apply for discreational leave to remain as a parent of a British citizen but was refused in 2015. After seaking advice I was told to apply for flr fp with human right included and I was awarded with a partner route for 10 years.

Wow with such a complex history I'm really happy you have been given the 10 year route, and especially within a year of your application, congratulations

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.
