Submitted (Biometric) on 30/08/2023
Decision received on 23/02/2024: granted
BRP: waiting (will be delivered by Royal mail).
10 years route , probably will apply ILR on may 2025.
Looks like 6 months waiting time is average even my case is pretty straightforward, as partner, kids documents are all same as per last applications.
Wish everyone who is still waiting getting decision very very soon.
All the Best.

Hello. Yes. I might be wrong. As far as I know, the 10 years time starts from the day 1 you got your first visa and continually keeping this visa for 10 years. Like other 10 years long stay route (mixed visa types).Lore55 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:28 pmHi,
I wanted to ask why you said you would apply for your ILR when you have not completed your 10 years FLR(FP) route?
Can you apply for ILR before completing the 10 years FLR route?
Can anyone advise if I can apply for my ILR as I am about to apply for my fourth 10 years parent route extension?
Has anyone applied for super priority with recourse on parent route as my last one took 16 months to be granted?
Thank you all as usual.
This, my first visa was issued March 2015, this is my last extension and I qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain March 2025staringattft wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 8:32 amHello. Yes. I might be wrong. So in theory, if your extension takes too long, for the ILR purpose , it doesn't effect the total 10 years waiting time.
Yes, you count 10 years from the first LTR date of issue,eg March 15/2015, 10 years will be in March 15/2025 regardless of waiting times in between the extensions .Lore55 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 11:39 amFirst of all, thank you all for your response.
To clarify, so that means if you received your first FLR(FP) extension in 2015, regardless of the waiting time you will qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain in 2025.
Please any other insight to this will be appreciated.
Thank you all so much.

Hi,ALIADNAN770 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 6:27 amHello guru’s & rest of readers
One of my friend applied FLR(fp) yesterday at Sheffield on super priority service center. When she arrived there, they took her all documents, scan done biometric made photograph, and after that they told her to go back at her residence as she is not eligible for super priority service and they also said to her she should not give an option in her online application for super priority services. She is confused if she was not eligible then why is she been offered on home office website priority service.
They said to her she will get back 1000£ refund, which she paid towards priority service, and her application will consider as standard application.
She is a single mother, two months British baby, also, she has mental health issue provided did letters by her psychiatrist, GP, social services and health visitor.
Her instant Visa expired on 08/02/2022, and after that she didn’t have any immigration status.
1; Now she is wonder what happened to her application and how long will it take for outcome?
2: she also advised legal aid that she was eligible for a fee waiver, no, she’s asking if hafiz is considering her application as a standard application, can she ask home office to refund her whole money and consider her application on basis
Any reply or advice will be highly appreciated
Thanks
Why would you apply for FLR(FP) if you meet the income and language requirement? She should have applied on FLR(M).RR1983 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 6:23 pmHi all, new to this board and had a query on FLR(FP).
My wife immigrated to UK last June and we married in August. In October, we applied for an FLR(FP) 2.5 years extension and paid the NHS surcharge. We meet the requirements for income and language, but have yet to receive a decision, which is running at 20 weeks.
Our understanding based on all the guidance on the .Gov website is that the standard time is 8 weeks. However, when we complained we received a response that it can take up to 12 months. Is this correct? We can only see 12 months against the criteria where income & language is not required.
This is time sensitive as my wife is looking to travel back to the USA to be with her sister who is due to give birth in the near future.
She entered on a family visa as a fiancée (D-Marriage/CP), conditional to getting married in six months. We married, then applied for the extension, within the UK, providing documentation on my income and on language. Why would you apply for FLR(FP) if you meet the income and language requirement? She should have applied on FLR(M).
What visa did she enter the UK on?
Are you sure you did not apply on FLRI(M)?? Which would be the correct form.RR1983 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 7:14 pmShe entered on a family visa as a fiancée (D-Marriage/CP), conditional to getting married in six months. We've just cantered through the application forms again; both forms take you to the same destination 'family route' on the .gov website. However, at no point is there a clear section that states whether our application was FLR(M)/(FP).Are you sure you did not apply on FLRI(M)?? Which would be the correct form.
So why do you believe then that you have applied on FLR(FP) and not FLR(M)?? They are two separate sets of immigration rules and visas.RR1983 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 7:38 pmWe've just cantered through the application forms again; both forms take you to the same destination 'family route' on the .gov website. Is it possible Serco or someone else has flagged our application incorrectly?
Because in response to our complaint email FLR(FP) was quoted, which led us to this thread. So why do you believe then that you have applied on FLR(FP) and not FLR(M)?? They are two separate sets of immigration rules and visas.
Have you received any email acknowledgement of your application?
Yes, we received an email confirming it's receipt we also received an email from Serco when we submitted the biometrics.Have you received any email acknowledgement of your application?
Did you download a copy of the application so you can check if you perhaps ticked something incorrectly?
Highly unlikely that UKCVAS messed up as you would have submitted the online form before your had the biometrics appointment.
We answered no and secondly; Is this the first time you have applied for a partner route, or an extension, with your current partner (including as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner)?
We answered:Please choose the reason you are applying for an extension, this includes if you are switching to a partner visa from another type.
