NZ person applying for Tier 2 Sponsorship

Hi there,

I am going through an agent at the moment and we have submitted last week our COS for myself to stay in the UK under sponsorship.

Obviously we find out on the 11th (which falls on a weekend so will find out on the 13th) if this has been successful.

My questions are;

has anybody been through Tier 2 applications before for a New Zealander. I know you have to go home and I was going to pay for priority service for the visa however I cannot find a set rate on how much this actually is. does anybody know? also since we have to send out visas off to Manila how long does everything take would 2 weeks be enough?

How or what website do you request for a priority visa? is there any other service to get it back even faster? i read there was one that you can get it back in 24 hours but i assume i might have misread and also depends on the country and visa processing centres etc.

Basically just want to know how long it will take and how much as I want to get over to NZ and sort my visa ASAP and get back to the UK fast without using a lot of leave.

Has RMLT been done?

How does an 'agent' fit into this? The employer should have staff who deal with Work Permits via the SMS system....

Yes all of the required processes been done (RMLT etc) the agent organises everything basically and make sure all the paperwork is in order. we have just been approved our licence for sponsorship and on Thursday we submitted my application on the system for COS.

Everything has been completed and just waiting to see if infact it will be accepted however Im just trying to plan ahead and see roughly how much priority service is for New Zealanders and if anybody got this service how long it took
