Seeking Guidance: Priority Non-Settlement Visa

Post by engadnan » Thu Mar 09, 2017 1:43 pm

Hi, i have applied for the Priority Non-Settlement Visa for UK on last Friday. The Status Update received on this Monday was 'Application Received by UKBI'.

What are the expected number of days for the outcome of the Priority Non-Settlement Visa Applications? I have read on various places that it is around 3-5 day from the date of submission of Applications.

In my case, the 5th day has lapsed today. Is there any helpline from where we can have an update about the Visa Application?

Hi, i am a non-EU national and currently residing in EU. As i was not hearing anything about the visa application, so i took the liberty to contact the UKVI and received the following response:

*****************************************************************************************
Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status and found that the application has
been processed and a decision has been made.

Please note that your passport and documentation could still take some time
to reach you whilst being sent back from the decision making centre and
whilst other administrative formalities are completed. The visa application
centre will be in contact with you regarding the collection or delivery.

We strongly recommend not to book prepaid travel and accommodation before
receiving the visa.
*****************************************************************************************

Though i think that this is a standard text which is being sent by the UKVI Customer Services Team, some blogs suggests that there is a difference in the emails received by successful and unsuccessful applicants. Is it so?

No, emails are generic and do not give any indication on whether your application has been successful or not.

Just to update and to seek some advice. I have been informed by the UKVI International Inquiry Helpline on two different occasions that my case has been processed and a decision has been made. However, there is no update yet from the TLS and it still shows (Application with Home Office for a Decision). I asked the UKVI International Inquiry and they said that probably it is a delay on the TLS side. How to sort this issue as I am in dire need of my Passport.
