Comprehensive Sickness Insurance - PhD

Post by benuix » Sun Mar 12, 2017 5:48 pm

Hi all. I plan to apply for the EEA Residence Card.
A prerequisite for this is to have evidence of Comprehensive Sickness Insurance.
I was doing my PhD for the largest period of my staying here, and I didn't have any individual sickness insurance.
Is there some way to do that retrospectively?
e.g. pay for sickness insurance for the previous years?
Thank you!

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way of acquiring any type of insurance (including Comprehensive Sickness insurance) retrospectively.
I am not a lawyer or immigration advisor. My statements/comments do not constitute legal advice. E&OE. Please do not PM me for advice.
