Where in the UK is Tier 1 Extension Application is decided

does any 1 know which office in the UK the tier 1 extn is decided.

my friend whose appliccation for Tier 1 Extn is pending for almost 9 months wishes to vary to ILR (10yr) as he has become eligble for it now.

Having browsed this forum, it looks like if we go to the same PEO office for the same-day premium servie, the decsion can be made on the same day...(HO being able to retrieve passport easily) which is the main motivtion for varying the appliccation.

any1 know where it is decided or how to ask HO to send the appliccation to the premium center ?

The documents are probably at Sheffield.
Apply for SET(LR) as normal at a premium centre with a covering letter intending for varying to ILR. You need to pay the fee difference.
The documents will be requested to be sent there by the case worker, as you might not be able to get a same day response when your documents are not available.

thanks Zimba..is not there any way to request these docs to be sent to a PEO in advance. I hv also come acroos a post where an OP has varied to ILR on the same day without passport by requesting it to be sent..
