ROA Application matters - please help

Post by wendyx2890 » Sun Mar 05, 2017 9:46 pm

Hi hope someone can help me here

Children's grandfather was diagnosed late stage cancer at end of January this year, and doctor predicted 3 months' living time. I sent out children's ROA application early of February, expecting the passports will be returned within 6-8 weeks, so we can travel to see him with kids. However, after reading this forum, the waiting time can be 3 months +. I am not sure father-in-law can wait that long considering his current condision, it would be sad that he never seen his youngest grandson.

is there any contact address I can send a letter, explaining our current family matter and appeal for quick processing time. our children's cases are very straight forward, they were all born after mother's gained ILR.

current address I have

Home Office
North West Region
Nationality Team
PO Box 306 Liverpool
L2 0QN

Department 1
UKVI
The Capital
New Hall Place
Liverpool
L3 9PP

Which address I should use

any advise will be appreciated

Suggest use the address where you sent the applications and include the reference numbers. This might not speed up the process but rather be seen as a withdrawal.

I don't want to withdraw my application, as children cant travel without passports with relevant stamp on it, do you suggest we do nothing but wait?

AFAIK, documents for BC application are returned when the decision has been made, often comes with the decision letter.
