Hi guys,
I had initially applied for my Tier 2 General Extension on 09/01/2017 when my leave was expiring on 21/01/2017 however, it was refused due to inappropriate salary and I received the letter on 23/02/2017. Note, that my passport was retained by UKVI and the BRP was destroyed as it was no longer valid.
Having read the forums, I found that I would have to reapply with a new CoS with increased salary within the 14 days from the date of letter being received which we did using Priority Service on the 03/03/2017 with the documents being received by the UKBA on 06/03/2017. I received the biometric letter on the 08/03/2017 sent to my home address (not the correspondence address) and enrolled the same day. Then I received another biometric letter on 13/03/2017 at my correspondence address. After emailing the priority team I was advised that it was a duplicate letter and to ignore it.
However, tomorrow is the 10th working day and I still haven't heard anything (The special delivery envelope I provided still hasn't been posted as I checked on the Royal Mail website) and I am getting worried about how long this can take. I have noticed some people in the past in similar situation like myself got their passport/BRP within the first week of applying via Priority Service however, has someone gone through something similar in 2017?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
