UK Tier 2 visa confusions

Post by saran873 » Fri Mar 17, 2017 2:20 pm

Hi, I received a COS from my Employer and its getting expired by April 24. I need to give 3 months resignation notice with my employer and I have not submitted it yet. I am planning to submit resignation on April 1st and i can able join in UK after 3 months (July), Hopefully i will reduce my notice period to 2 months, so i can able to join July 1st. Can any guide me how to start the process in this situation. If I use the option Visa can be apply 3 months before start date will help me. For Ex: Before my COS expired I can apply Visa and my visa can be issued one month before start date. If i did this when i will receive my passport back and how visa can be received. If any one come across this situation pls reply me as early as possible.
I am from India, and I have a Police verification certificate, which is 4 months older weather it can be accepted with my visa application.. Thanks

That would be really good if you can list down your circumstances, for example, which date they issued the COS etc.
