To qualify for an unmarried partner route, you have to prove you have lived together and have joint financial commitments for at least 2 years immediately preceding your application date.
Thank you! We can do that - we have a lot of photos and chats since we day we met, we also usaed to live in one flat and i have all the evidences of this too. The thing that concerns me is "the bank statements and savings". Should i provide mine or only my EEA partner's financial documents are needed? Thank you
For how long and when last did you live together? How long has your partner been in the UK??

We started our relationship in 05- 2016, i moved to Italy in 10-2016, where we lived together for a year till 09-2017, after that he visited me in Italy almost every month for at least 2-4 weeks. Also we spent the whole summer 2018 together in UK, Italy and Russia. He is in London from 09-2017

We lived together for a year from 9-2016 till-9-2017 in Italy, after that he visited me in Italy almost every month for at least 2-4 weeks. Also we spent the whole summer 2018 together in UK, Italy and Russia. He is in London from 09-2017
I don't think this will be sufficient for an unmarried partner route EEA FP.

https://www.gov.uk/family-permit/eligibility
Qualifying as an extended family member or unmarried partner
You can apply as an ‘extended’ family member’, for example a brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin, nephew or niece.
You must be able to show that you’re dependent on the EEA citizen or are a member of their household, or have a serious health condition and rely on them to care for you.
You can also apply as an unmarried partner if you can show that you’re in a lasting relationship with the EEA national.
Extended family members and unmarried partners are not guaranteed to get a permit. Your individual circumstances will be considered when you apply.
Documents you must provide
You must provide:
a valid passport
evidence of your relationship to your EEA family member, for example a marriage certificate, civil partnership certificate, birth certificate or proof that you’ve lived together for 2 years if unmarried
your family member’s valid passport or national identity card (or a certified copy if you cannot provide the original)
proof of your dependency if you’re dependent on your EEA family member

Good day Good day,
I applied for the UK EEA FAMILY PERMIT and this is my time line so far :
Application submitted online: 10 March 2019
TLsContact Munich visit: 12 March 2019
Received SMS from TLsContact (The Visa application has been forwarded to UKVI) : 12 March 2019
Received Email from VISAINFO.SHEFO (Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.): 25 March 2019
How long will it still take to get the permit?
Unfortunately I opted to hand in my passport and I remained in Germany. I miss my husband
Any update about your application

Hello everyone ,
I have gone through this trend and I have read so many narrated issues faced ! However, my EEA family permit didn’t take 15 working days as it was supposed in website UKVi . I ensured that all document asked for were submitted and my passport was returned to travel to the Uk. We are actually traveling for a short Holiday !
Timeline:
Appointment after online application dated 29/01/2019 haha Brexit hot zone...
Passport received 15/02/2019. with visa.
I didn’t call or email because I didn’t see any reason for refusal anyways .
Nationality : Nigerian married to a Swiss national .
On demand DHL expressed was used to return my passport. FP must be treated with priority .
Advise : provide enough supported documents especially cohabitation related documents, marriage certificate plus photo of both you and your spouse.
I wish every one goodluck, never give up on your dreams!!
Hello ,hope you are doing good,
May i know pls what are the supporting docs you have submitted for short trip ,Are you both from outside UK right
Awaiting for your response

Hi,
I have been following the blog for couple of weeks now.
I will like to share my timeline
FEB 27 2019
Application submitted, bio-metrics done same day(IKEJA NIGERIA). Text message sent from VFS indicating that application received and sent to UKVI
MARCH 6TH
Email received to inform me that application has been sent to the decision center.
After 15 working days panic mode activated because i haven't heard anything back.
MARCH 25TH 2019
Email received to inform me that my passport was ready for collection.
anxiety mode re-activated i could barely sleep mixed feelings.
March 26th 2019 I went to the VFS centre to collect my passport. Yippie permit granted Valid from 16th march to September 19 2019.
I hope this helps someone, I pray that those people waiting get a positive news soonest.
Best of luck.
2 THINGS ON MY MIND NOW THOUGH
Who has an idea of a city thats cheap and family orientated.
Outside London and where it will be easier for me to get a job and good schools for the kids. Thank you in advance

Hi there Faro786,
Have you receive your visa ?
I got a not straightforward email on 21st of March and am still waiting. I applied and got biometric done on 4th of March 2019.
So I heard that those of us that apply from outside the UK, and got the not straight forward email that the UK visa centre has to respond back to as quick as possible, that they can't take too long on deciding a not straight forward email application.
Those anyone know if the above statement is right please?

@ wifeofaking no I didn’t receive anything yet waiting since January and got a not straightforward email, I’m emailing them since February and all they say is ur application is awaiting a decision, it’s useless to email them the eco doesn’t give a response, But u can email them if u need ur passport urgently or if u have other issues just tell them that u can’t wait for a long time. But let me tell U what their response will be, ur application is being considered and awaiting a decision and if u want to escalate then u I’ll have to wait 15 working days to get a response from the relevant department which they will not respond, that’s what happened to me Lol

But as per my understanding, Sheffield won't send you an email stating that your application is refused. I think they will just send you an email stating that your application has been reviewed and ECO decided already. Then they gonna tell you that just wait for the SMS or call from the Visa Application Center (if you applied there) for the collection of your passport.

Hi. Every one.
Me and my sister have applied for EU Family Permit 2 days ago from Belgium as a 18 years old and 20 years old children of my mother who is a Belgium national.
My mother who is disabled registered person in Belgium and live in Belgium. She is not in the UK now. We said we want to go on holiday with our mother to London.
My first question is will that have any effect on our application if our mother doesn’t live in the UK?
Second question is where do they decide on eu Family Permit in Paris embassy or Sheffield or home office in Croydon?
Third question. We applied for a visit visa a year ago we were refused. Stating that we don’t work and my mother who was not Belgium national back then said in her own application that she will travel alone, so will that refusal effect our eu Family Permit application?
Thanks
