Hi all,

I'm new here and would just like to share my experience/woes, and hopefully get any advice with regards to my application for an EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit (EUSSFP).

My situation is as follows:

Place of Biometric submission: Singapore
Date of Biometrics: 27/05/2019
Date of “Application not straightforward” Email: 13/06/2019
Date of First Escalation: 28/06/2019
Date of Second Escalation: 8/07/2019
Other information: I previously applied for a marriage visitor visa (MVV) to the UK twice. My first application was rejected as we did not attach enough information to prove our relationship. The second application was approved quite quickly and the MVV will expire in September 2019.

No one has contacted me about my application for the EUSSFP to ask for more information or details. I'm also pretty sure that my application was comprehensive enough as I've attached an official extract from the marriage registry, photographs and chatlogs to prove my relationship.

It's been 31 working days now and after several emails and phone calls, I've been told that there's nothing else I can do beyond waiting. I've read that some have forum posters have approached an MP for assistance, and am thinking of getting my partner to approach the local MP. I wonder whether anyone has thoughts on the efficacy of that. Many thanks and good luck to all......

While doing so under evidence section Manadatory document Q3 it says pls tick the box for a passport or travel document of my wife ( eea citizen) from British citizen???! I am a Canadian citizen so Why does it say British citizen ??

Hi Ron34
Until you receive your passport, you would not able to know the outcome. The email only refers to whether you need to pick up your passport or do any more formalities. You can call to UKVI to know the status of your application.
