I applied on 26th August and have still not received any confirmation email that my application has been received

I also applied on 26th Aug, but on the same day I received 2 SMS on my mobile phone, 1 is ur application is under GWF***** is accepted and 2nd message which I had received after few hours that your application is forwarded to UKVI...
On 27th I received an email that ur application is under consideration..

I think u have to call at your VFS or TSL where u had given your biometric and confirm weather ur application being forwarded or not...

Calling was a waste of time n money ,it was a call that’s already been programmed
Well I did email tls ,they said my documents is currently being processed by UKVI
It’s hard to believe them tho
I emailed UKVI as well waiting for their response

07th August-Boimetric and submission of documents.Recieved email-Your visa application has been sent to the Decision Making Centre for processing.
14th August-Recieved email-Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre.
19th August-Recieved email-Require additional document which were provide on the same day
20th August-Recieved email-Application not straightforward. Tried contacting the UK visa contact centre payed services they replied saying we cant provide any individual time frame.
30th August-Called the contact center payed services. The lady on the phone couldnt speak clear english she hardly understood english, somehow after managing to convey the situation she said that the decision for my application was already made on 22nd august which I didnt recieve any update about. She said she will escalate my case.
02nd September-Called again and the same lady was there on the phone she was about to escalate the case after I called her for second time. I recieved an email from her saying case was escalated and I the decision making center is replying within 15 days.
03rd September-Emailed TLS office enquiring about the case but still pending.

Still waiting for any updates on the case, checking my tracking site every hour looks like I was suppose to recieve my passport by now as the decision was made on 22nd. I dont understand what took so long for the visa office. The paid contact services were helpful for a bit but after spending 30-40pounds they hardly managed to speak english and they cant provide much information.

Hi, u do remember through which courier service your passport arrived at VFS Pakistan, I mean when u went at VFS office they gave u a parcel packed which u were opened, is it through TCS or DHL or FEDEX?? Which courier company name was written, thanks

I think u should go to tls yourself and check if your passport is there, someone had this issue ,only to go to tls to find out his passport has been there for weeks
They sometimes don’t send you a mail to let you know your passport has arrived . Try n go tomorrow cos once you’ve received a confirmation that a decision has been made then it’s definitely with tls

This is so frustrating I'm calling the paid center like 5th time already spend £60 and they can't help me but just escalate my case and wait 15days for reply and then again re escalated. The TLS office confirmed that the passport is directly send by Sheffield visa office to courier company and then to the applicant so no point going there. The service is really ridiculous as we don't have any info where the documents are and there is no way to contact the visa office.

Hi guys..

Just want to update my application:
June 28- Biometric(scanning and uploading documents-i paid the tls)
June 28- Application transferred to UKVI
July 2- Application received at UK Decision making center(Application is currently being prepared for consideration by an ECO)

Until now i did not receive any email from them..im already worried..Basically,how many days they gonna decide the application?..And if you received not straightforward email from them, what does it mean?..for now,no follow up email from them..

Hopefully my application is okay..

Hi there. My timeline is same as you.still I didn't get any message from them after application had been received by ECO .If there is any progress on your side ? Please let me for aware

Application not straight forward just means that right now they are really busy and can't do your visa but they have zero transparency in this service that's why they lie

Hi..good day..we called the uk visa immigration and my husband follow up my application..the lady told that the decision has already made last July 16..but we did not receive email yet that they will return my passport..according to tls contact here at romania they don't have a passport collection in their visa center and my passport will send to my address..but my problem is how could i know that they already send my passport back..my husband told me to wait until next week maybe my passport will arrive..

No updates it's just me calling the paid line and wasting money as I'm helpless and got no clue where my passport got stuck

Does anyone know any ways of contacting the Home Office directly as opposed to the call centre? I've sent multiple emails and made multiple phonecalls (probably spent over 50 pounds), only to be told by staff at the contact centre to keep waiting or that they can't help me.

Two escalations have been made, and while I was told that an entry clearance officer would contact me, no one has done so after 15 working days. The whole process, along with the lack of information or definitive timeline, has been immensely frustrating. Today marks the 35th working day since my biometrics. An email address or a phone number would be very useful.

hey i am going through the same thing I called them and they told me the decision has been made 3 weeks ago still didnt receive any updates there is no other way to contact them just waste of money

Hi,

My wife (Syrian) applied for EEA family permit from Berlin. Biometrics date 6th Aug. She used keep my passport service. 12 days after, I received an email from Sheffield asking to submit the passport back to VAC which we did. VAC did not know anything about Sheffield email and said they have never received any correspondence from UKVI.

Now, it has been 1 week since then and we have not heard anything from either Sheffield or Berlin VAC. I called the helpline, they said the application has been REOPENED ! something which I have never heard of. They did not even give a time frame.

Anyone has similar experience ? I really appreciate your advice.

Try withdrawing the application,maybe they’ll take u seriously and send your passport then , if they say a decision has been made , you’ll get your passport with the stamp in it anyways since they can’t tear a page of your passport
