Oh you don’t have to worry. You can still apply to the EUSS after 31st October, my solicitor confirmed that from the Home Office. Even if UK leaves EU without a deal, we have until 31st December of 2020 to apply to the EUSS. So you don’t have to worry about that, as a direct family menber of an EEA National who already has settled or presettled status.Afiabajan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 1:44 pmZemyrk
Yh you’re right am applying as a direct family member of an eea national
Zemyrk what’s your timeline
Hazani
Thank u and I wish you all the best in your application as well
@zemyrk
Ive learnt I can’t apply for the eu settlement scheme if I enter the uk after 31st October
Am just hoping I get a positive decision a week before 31st
As for my timeline,Afiabajan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 1:44 pmZemyrk

Yeah if you don’t receive any such mail, then it means your application will be processed within their estimated timeframe, that is, 15 working days after biometrics.
I added bank statements, proof of shared address from the last 7 years, cover letter and still waiting since August 8. I really don't know why they are taking so much time.Zemyrk wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 12:00 pmThat’s really good evidence tbh. Added documentations like screenshots of WhatsApp chats also help. Other documents showing dependency like bank statements, pay slips & others are also encouraged. They help make your decision process faster.
Yeah it’s normal. Same as mineHazani wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 11:41 amWhy I got this Mail from Liverpool and not from Sheffield ..

Today is actually my 15th working day so fingers crossed. I got a not so straightforward mail on 10tg October so it might take a bit longer but hoping it comes as soon as possible
Yes Luisa, it means you might have to wait a bit longer. It’s quite unrealistic how you’ve waited for over 4 months for this. I pray you and your husband get this visa as soon as possible.Luisa87 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:09 pmHey Everyone,
Following on from my previous post. We had an interview on the 30th of September and few minutes after completion of the interview we received an email saying "your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible."
Does it mean that the wait is going longer than it should again?
Hey Zemryk, it is indeed ridiculous...since May!Zemyrk wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:18 pmYes Luisa, it means you might have to wait a bit longer.
